The second round of letters will not be sent. Kait, Emily, Sandy, Sandi, Jenny.
I might send out the sandi(y)s, i dont think i said anything too weird in them. The other ones were written more for my sake then for the sake of the recipient, and i didn't have kait or emily's address.
I've been sent addresses by kate and jaquelle, and i aughta write those girls.
I had two bottles of red last night. Kinda bowled me over.
Costume party. I was a lobster. Best costume there? Likely.
I bought two pairs of boxing gloves yesterday. Hot dizzamn. First round was me fighting my camp supervisor. He's 30ish. I won, unsure of how much effort he put forth. That said, i bounced around alot, i dont think he had alot of wide open opportunities. Lotsa fun.
I'm not sure if many folks back home are aware of this, but i haven't cut my hair in a while. Since leaving pei in feb anyway. It's never been longer. I'll be hanging onto it at least until i make it back to the island. August. It's really very long. Kinda sexy.
Sexy has found it's way into my frequently used words. I look like a little otter. A sexy little otter.
Watch out take me down, it seems as though a new song has found itself labeled a fan favorite. Martin Luther has some rockin' guitar, some lyrics that mean shit to me (and at least 2 others). It rocks hard. No shortage of attitude on this one.
I can't wait until my Am song (Jim Morrison?) gets complete. I know there's something wrong/when you dont need a poet to write a song./That is why bright eyes have come./Can't say why i have come./I know there's something wrong/when you can't hear the poem cause it's hidden in the song/the world needs more Jim Morrisons/my world needs a new voice, a rising sun.
something like that...
Anyhizzle, i'm still planting. Making the odd dollar. I miss the people i dont have near. And i love the people i do. I've been day dreaming about an electric guitar.
Rediculously good time. June fourth was our DBDO (day before day off) and while our first thoughts were that heading into town would be a good idea, we decided that staying in camp for drinks would work mighty fine.
The block we were at that morning blew hard. Heavy trees, and a huge slope. Only bagging up 180, i put in a little over seven bagups and got a measly 150 bucks or so from my efforts. Two days prior, i put in a pb (personal best) and planted 3180 11.5 cent trees. 365 buckleroos. Powerful day.
Even though june fourth came across a pretty weak financial block, it was still nice. Great views, solid weather.
After dinner i started in on some bombay that i had, played some hack, some guitar, drank a beer, and coasted into about 8:00. I had a nice swill of appleton's at around this point, and, knowing that i had a bottle of red being delivered, i figured i was in for the solid.
There's a dude named Jordan that i met this year. He's on my crew. On june fourth, while we were planting trees, jordan mentioned that he had a little bit of mush, and a pill of E, and he'd been waiting for a special occasion to partake in said drugs. This evening was to be a special occasion.
So i had a few grams of mush and a half pill at about 9:00. Just tasting the mushrooms got me riled up with anticipation. Eager anxiety.
June fourth was also the night of a "kitchen dance party". Our cook, marty, went into town that day and got a nice boom box, and had tossed some white christmas lights around the kitchen trailer. It wasn't where i spent most of my night (that was reserved for campfire) but it was a cool thing that was going on, and certainly added to everyone's interest in making a night of things. There was alot of boozing going around.
Sitting around the campfire, i thought i was slightly drunk. I was in a comfortable chair. At one point, it was decided that everyone would move back, to allow more people access to the fire. I stood and was shocked to realize the length of my intoxication. It wasn't anything too rough, no fall down, no noticed stumble. But sheeeeeeeet.
Highlight of the night was shortly after the fire backup. I went to my tent to get my bongos, and after another questionable standup, i found myself walking, feeling alot more comfortable on top of my legs. Then i realized that i was "tripping" on "magic mushrooms".
Just scoped out the sky for a bit, looked at some trees. Walked back to the fire in a brand new light. Adventurous and impenitrable (mush and e respectively).
I fired out a couple of tunes. I feel so comfortable behind my voice sometimes.
Tony went to his tent to get his Djembe, it was a wonderful addition. Rowan, a sweet blues musican rocked out pretty nicely, i was on djembe, and tony hit my bongos. Music works.
"something right" has become a big hit. I'm excited for y'all to hear it, it's likely under two minutes in length. Lately I has become a world better, in that i've changed the picking pattern and found more room for my voice. I believe that i've finalized lyrics to my newest completed song, "martin luther". I put alot of thought into the words, so there's a good chance they've lost flow, and become rather muddy. But i believe i like them, so we'll see how it goes.
why? there's no place to go
where nobody knows
that we should live.
with their religeously focused laws that try
to tell me how to please my god
when no one else knows him
when write and wrong are finally
objective like they need to be
no justice left for kings.
Truth left up to every man
like martin luther had it planned
when he told us of his dream.
wont eat
wont sleep
caught up in a bigger plan
i want to
be the
sample of a better man
to prove to
you to
me, that i really can
defeat the
life of
fault that he put us in
If there's no love it's hopeless here
alone unguarded from the fear
dont act violent
i'm excited
to try to learn what's best for you
cant we agree nobody knows
no presedents poets nor popes
can claim a knowledge
within all us
and show us to a road marked "truth"

Yeah, that's 'er.
One line i want to fit into the last part. "Time will heal/If you peel/off history's grip on you"
There's another deadly tune on the way, in Am. the first part of the song is complete with lyrics, the second half or more isn't. She'll be good though.
Love
